Duties and Responsibilities: Biochemical engineers design and develop medical
devices and therapy. Some may also investigate the failure of this medical
equipment and provide advice for purchase and installation of it. They also
must train new technicians and technologists.
Education: Biochemical engineers must go through at least 4 years post-secondary education/training.
Reflection:
Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
I would enjoy doing
this. It seems like an interesting career. It doesn’t seem as stressful as a
lot of medical careers.
