Trauma Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities: Trauma nurse must be able to work under pressure. They take care of people who have been in car accidents, had head injuries, gun shot wounds or stab wounds. They also have to treat them based on their age and gender making them more skilled than most RN.

Education: In order to become a trauma nurse you must first be a registered nurse. You also must have a bachelors degree.
















Reflection: I wouldn't want to be this because of the salary. They don't get paid that much. Also they probably see a lot of blood.

Cardiologist

Duties and Responsibilities: Cardiologist are doctors that deal with the heart, arteries, and veins. They diagnose and treat a patient's cardiovascular system.

Education: A cardiologist must attend medical school. They then must complete a residency followed by a cardiologist internship. They also must be board certified. The training after medical school is at least 6 years.




Reflection: I wouldn't like to be this because it's too much school.

Biochemical Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities: Biochemical engineers design and develop medical devices and therapy. Some may also investigate the failure of this medical equipment and provide advice for purchase and installation of it. They also must train new technicians and technologists.

Education: Biochemical engineers must go through at least 4 years post-secondary education/training.

I would enjoy doing this. It seems like an interesting career. It doesn’t seem as stressful as a lot of medical careers.

Writer

Duties and responsibilities: There are different types of writers. A writer can become a novelist, copywriter, biographer, or songwriter among others.

Education: No education is needed depending on the field of writing you get into. Typically full-time writers need a bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or communications.

I would most definitely love to be a writer. It seems like I would have a lot of fun with this career.

Reggie Bush

Reggie Bush was a football player for USC. He violated the rules of the NCAA by accepting cash and gifts. While other players on the team being honest and doing their best to be obedient. Bush decided not to follow the rules and faced the consequences. All the games USC won were revoked and he lost his Heisman Trophy.

I don’t believe we have to be obedient. We shouldn’t have to conform and obey everything. Yes, we should obey laws and our parents and people like that but that is in a way common sense. If you don’t obey the law you will face the consequences. But Obedience shouldn’t be a person’s main concern. We as human beings should have that basic human right of deciding what we want to do.

I wouldn't enjoy this career, because I don’t like needles. I would most likely faint while putting the needles in someone’s ear.

This is true in some situations.  My parents let me do whatever I want as long as I listen to their rules. I could go out with friends or to the park. There is however parents who don’t let their children do anything. They could be the most obedient child in the world but they aren’t allowed to go outside.

Duties and Responsibilities: They must practice said profession. They need to know how to adjust sports equipment. Athletic Trainers must carry out orders from physicians for the athletes. For example they have to give the athletes their prescriptions.

This does seem like an interesting career and I would enjoy this profession. It seems fun but the pay is too low.

Anesthesiologist

I would definitely do this because it’s good pay and less stressful.
